Coordination is NOT key

Hello there all! I realized it's been a while since I've updated. This Wednesday will be my first "Weigh-in Wednesday" so be sure to tune in for that!

Today I used one of my new Zumba dvds.... it was a 30 minute quick burn workout with an additional 15 minute ab workout at the end. It was a lot of fun but somewhat frustrating. Not because of the workout itself. But because I used to be able to follow new Zumba workouts with little or no problem. I had become very coordinated and could pick up on the routines super quickly. I feel like it's been so long now since I did Zumba as a daily thing that I have lost my rhythm!!!!! But I remember way back when I first started doing Zumba I had the same problem and one thing I tried to remember was that coordination isn't key. Zumba is all about getting up off your butt and moving. Keep your legs and hips moving and you're still getting the basic function of Zumba! So to anyone I know who is thinking of trying Zumba for the first time, please do not get discouraged if you don't pick up the routines within the first week or two. Practice does make perfect after all!!

Anyway, sorry so short but again be sure to tune in on Wednesday for my first weigh in!! Lets hope for positive results!
